USC Completes Sweep, Beats McKeesport 8-0
Upper St. Clair gets a great outing from Matt Fraudin to win their second game of the day and improve to 4-1 in district play.
Matt Fraudin pitched five shutout innings giving up just three hits and striking out eight in an 8-0 win over McKeesport late Thursday afternoon.
Troy Schoeppner continued his torrid hitting day. Earlier in the day he had three doubles against Baldwin and added two singles in the win over McKeesport. In all, he had five hits in eight plate appearances.
The Panthers move to 4-1 in the district with . They have the Easter weekend off and will be back in action on Monday hosting another doubleheader. At 1:30 p.m. they will play Peters Township and at 4 p.m. they will play Erie McDowell.
