USC High School 2017 Commencement: What You Need To Know

Graduation Day is fast approaching. Make sure you're properly prepared.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - It won’t be long before Upper St. Clair High School seniors march off into their futures.

The high school baccalaureate and commencement ceremonies will take place June 8. Baccalaureate, which is mandatory for graduating seniors, will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the theatere. The commencement ceremony will follow starting at 7 p.m. in the stadium, weather permitting.

Every attempt will be made to hold the commencement ceremony outside in the high school stadium. In the event of inclement weather, commencement will be relocated to the high school gymnasium and seating will be limited.

Each student will receive four unique bar-coded tickets for access to the high school gymnasium, if needed due to rain. Those tickets will be distributed during graduation practice.

Additional seating will be available in the high school LGI and theater, where friends and family can watch a live video feed of the ceremony. The theater and LGI will be an option whether graduation is held inside or outside.

The commencement ceremony will also be televised on Verizon channel 41, throughout the community on Comcast channel 19, and live streamed on the Internet at https://livestream.com/upper-st-clair/2017-graduation.

Questions or concerns regarding baccalaureate or commencement should be addressed to Brooke Tarcson in the Upper St. Clair High School Activities Office at 412-833-1600 ext. 2264 or via email btarcson@uscsd.k12.pa.us.
