Where Are Upper St. Clair's Lowest Gas Prices?

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - If you think you’ve been paying more at the pump recently, you’re correct. Even before the start of the summer, when the cost traditionally escalates, gas prices are on the rise.

The average price per gallon in the Pittsburgh metro area on Monday was $2.72, according to GasBuddy.com, which tracks gas prices across the country. That’’s nearly six cents higher than a week ago, an increase of more than 20 cents a gallon from a month ago and more than 42 cents a gallon higher than a year ago.

That puts the price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Pittsburgh 30 cents higher than the $2.42 national average, so it pays to hunt for a relative bargain. According to GasBuddy.Com, here are the lowest gas prices in the Upper St. Clair area:

• GetGo, Washington Pike near Millers Run Road, South Fayette: $2.73

• Sunoco, McMurray Road and Bethel Church Road, Upper St. Clair: $2.74

• Marathon, Painters Run Road near Bower Hill Road, Scott: $2.75

• GetGo, Fort Couch Road near Graeser Avenue, Bethel Park: $2.75

• Sunoco, Washington Road near North Highland Road, Bethel Park: $2.73
