Woman Pleads Guilty to Some Hit-and-Run Charges in Upper St. Clair

Other charges are withdrawn.

Jennifer Lynne SantiagoΒ pleaded guilty on MondayΒ at theΒ Upper St. Clair Township-Bethel Park magistrate's officeΒ to two motor vehicle violations stemming from an incident inΒ theΒ Trader Joe's parking lot along Washington RoadΒ in early April, according to court documents.

Upper St. Clair policeΒ charged Santiago, 41, of Bower Hill Road inΒ Mt. Lebanon, with hitting two vehicles in the parking lot and leaving the scene, but on Monday, chargesΒ of careless driving andΒ being in an accident involving damage to an attended vehicle or propertyΒ were withdrawn. The guilty charges were meeting a vehicle proceeding in the opposite direction and being in anΒ accident involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property.

According to court documents,Β Santiago paid restitution to victims of the incident.
