The Strength of Others Fr. Bill Atkinson and the Miracle of Community Book Launch

Villanova University, the Augustinian Province of St. Thomas of Villanova, and author Sara McDermott Jain will celebrate the life and legacy of the Rev. William “Bill” Atkinson, OSA, the first quadriplegic ordained a Catholic priest, whose canonization cause is under Vatican review, with a book launch and tribute on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Topper Theatre. The program will feature remarks from Prior Provincial the Rev. Robert Hagan, OSA, JD, ’87 CLAS, and Joan Alice Mullen, Father Bill's sister, as well as a Q&A with Jain, author of The Strength of Others. Reservations are almost full.
