The citation reads that the Pennsylvania House of Representatives is always pleased to recognize individuals, through their wisdom and experience, who have contributed to the enrichment and betterment of succeeding generations.

"Delbert Lincoln Marlow is being congratulated upon this momentous occasion of his 108th birthday," the citation states. "He has demonstrated the highest ideals of citizenship throughout the years and truly deserves special recognition."

Warminster Township supervisor Judy Hoover was also present to celebrate the occasion.

Marlow was born on Feb. 12, 1916. He was married for more than 60 years to his wife Dorothy before her passing. He has two children, two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A Warminster community group's Facebook page requested residents to drive by Marlow's home and honk their horns in celebration of his birthday. Many left comments on the post wishing him well.
