2 Police Officers Promoted In Warminster
One police officer was promoted to detective and another to corporal at a recent Warminster Township Supervisors meeting.

WARMINSTER, PA —One police officer is following another up the ranks of the Warminster Township Police Department.
At a recent Warminster Township Supervisors meeting, District Justice Christopher O'Neill gave the oath to officers Andrew Verderame and Chad Vargo.
Verderame was promoted from corporal to detective while Vargo was promoted to corporal at the supervisors' Oct. 10 meeting.

Verderame was hired by the Warminster Police Department in April 2000.
The University of Delaware graduate has a bachelor’s degree in human resources and a master's degree in emergency management from Millersville University.

He was promoted to corporal in 2010 and has worked as a crime scene investigator, field training officer, defensive tactic instructor, and fingerprint examiner.
Verderame is married and has one child.
Vargo was hired by Warminster Police Department in July 2009 and attended West Chester University.
He previously worked for the Coatesville and South Heilberg Township police departments.
During his tenure in Warminster, Vargo has worked as a crime scene investigator, CPR/ first aid instructor, and firearms instructor.
Vargo is also a member of the Bucks County Major Incident Response Team (MIRT). He is married and has two children.
“These two officers have shown true dedication to serving the citizens of Warminster Township,” Police Chief James C. Donnelly III said. “They exemplify what it means to serve and protect your community. I am proud to promote Officers Andrew Verderame and Chad Vargo.”
The officers shook hands with supervisors and posed for pictures with the chief and with family members.
