$246K State Grant Coming To Ivyland Borough

State Rep. Brian Munroe secured the state grant for a crosswalk across Jacksonville Road.

IVYLAND BOROUGH, PA — The borough is getting nearly $250,000 to construct a safe crosswalk across Jacksonville Road at Willard Avenue.

State Rep. Brian Munroe, D-Bucks, secured the state grant through the Commonwealth Financing Authority, which is funded through the Local Share Account program, which is supported by the PA Race Horse Development Gaming Act.

“These projects are essential improvements to our communities and the entities that provide them important services,” said Munroe. “They’ll make our neighborhoods safer and more accessible, and I’m proud to see this investment in our infrastructure and in our people.”

The Ivyland projects that received grant funding includes:

  • $246,759 to Ivyland Borough to construct a safe crosswalk across Jacksonville Road at Willard Avenue, equipped with a flashing warning sign; the installation of an ADA-compliant ramp at Ivyland Community Park and a new sidewalk to connect the park to Ivyland Commons Park; and enhancements at Ivyland Community Park to include trash cans, benches, and landscaping.
