$3,500 Catalytic Converter Theft, Road Rage Tops Warminster Crimes

The Warminster Township Police Department also reported three DUIs in its most recent blotter of criminal incidents.

WARMINSTER, PA —Another catalytic converter theft topped the most recent crimes in Warminster Township's police blotter.

The Warminster Township Police Department released its recent arrests and criminal incidents for the period of Dec. 19, 2022, through Jan. 1, 2023.

  • Catalytic Converter Theft —On Dec. 21, 2022, police took the report of a catalytic converter theft from a 2018 Isuzu Box Truck that was parked in the area of 299 E. Street Road. Approximate value: $3,500. Police are investigating.
  • Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property Arrest —On Dec. 21, 2022, police responded to Walmart for a reported retail theft. After investigating a 31-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested for the theft and receiving stolen property.
  • Disorderly Conduct / Road Rage Incident —Police took the report of a road rage incident, after investigating and speaking with both parties, a 20-year-old Southampton woman was cited on Dec. 21, 2022, for disorderly conduct for her actions during the incident.
  • Public Drunkenness —Police responded to the Giant food store for the report of a male passed out in the dining area of the store. Police made contact with the 35-year-old Hatboro man and found him to be intoxicated. The male was cited for public drunkenness.
  • Simple Assault and related offenses —On Dec. 24, 2022, at 10:46 p.m., police were dispatched to Benn Lane for a report of a disturbance. After investigating, a 32-year-old Warminster woman was arrested for simple assault and related offenses.
  • Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness —On Dec. 24, 2022, police responded to Coin-Op Laundromat for the report of a male who had broken a window. Police made contact with the 35-year-old Hatboro man who also appeared to be intoxicated. He was charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.
  • Driving Under the Influence —On Dec. 24, 2022, at 3:52 p.m., police responded to a vehicle crash in the area of Madison Avenue and Street Road. After making contact with one of the operators, it was determined the 40-year-old Willow Grove man was intoxicated. He was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and hit and run on an attended vehicle.
  • Driving Under the Influence —On Dec. 25, 2022, at 5:16 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle crash in the area of Jacksonville Road and Vanhorn Drive. Upon investigating the crash, one of the operators, a 26-year-old Warminster man was determined to be intoxicated. He was arrested for driving under the influence.
  • Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property Arrest —Police responded to the Costco Store for a reported retail theft. After investigating, a 36-year-old Sicklersville, N.J., man was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, and providing false identification to law enforcement.
  • Drug Possession Arrest —On Dec. 21, 2022, police arrested a 17-year-old Southampton man for drug possession and drug paraphernalia after responding to a tip of a man possibly in possession of narcotics and investigating the incident.
  • Driving Under the Influence —On Dec. 31, 2022, around 3 a.m., an officer who was on patrol came across a running vehicle in the parking lot of a closed business. The operator, a 24-year-old Warminster man was found to be asleep at the wheel. The operator was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for driving under the influence.

ALL SUSPECTS/DEFENDANTS IN THE STATED INCIDENTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW, SOME INFORMATION/INCIDENTS MAY BE WITHELD DUE TO NATURE OF INCIDENT OR ACTIVE INVESTIGATIONS.
