443 Motorists Snared In 3-County State Police Traffic Enforcement
Bucks County was among the counties in operation conducted by State Police Wednesday.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Traffic enforcement conducted Wednesday in three counties, including Bucks, snared 443 motorists, state police announced.
Pennsylvania State Police Troop M revealed results of a troop-wide traffic enforcement detail that covered Bucks, Lehigh and Northampton counties.
The results were not broken down per each county.

The results disclosed include:
- 307 Traffic Citations
- 132 Warnings
- 2 Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Arrest
- 2 Drug-Related Arrests
State Police said the operation's objective was to conduct aggressive, visible enforcement resulting in increased highway safety.

Police are reminding motorists that attempting to flee or elude police is considered a third-degree felony, which carries are a maximum sentence of 7 years in prison, a $15,000 fine, and restitution for damages and/or injuries sustained as a result of the pursuit.
