5 Fun Things To Do In Bucks County This Weekend
From food truck festivals to car and boat shows, Bucks County has a lot to offer this weekend. You can even meet Elmo's puppy.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA —A show of hands for anyone who likes to go to shows during the summer.
While you certainly can catch shows at the Bucks County Playhouse, this may be your weekend for shows geared toward cars and even boats.
Doylestown will close some streets early Saturday to get set to showcase more than 500 cars for its Doylestown at Dusk event. Meanwhile, along the Delaware River waterfront, a car and boat show will take place in Bristol Borough.

If eating is your pleasure, check out the second annual Lingohocken Food Truck Festival at the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds on Saturday.
At Sesame Place in Middletown Township, it's a Gotcha Day weekend celebration for Tango, the puppy of beloved furry character Elmo.

History will also be on display with Hulmeville and Yardley.
Yardley is bringing back a "Then and Now" outdoor photo exhibit of pictures taken in the early 1900s that are on display in the places they are now. The exhibit starts Saturday.
Meanwhile, Hulmeville is having a History Night from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Johnson Hall Coffee House. The event is sponsored by the Hulmeville Historical Society and includes a show and tell, a historical presentation, a question and answer session, and even historical bingo. Admission is free but seating is limited.

Doylestown At Dusk Will Feature More Than 500 Cars
Doylestown at Dusk is an annual car show featuring more than 500 cars. Located on the streets of Doylestown, the show offers a unique experience for car owners and admirers. Enjoy music, and local vendors as well. The event is free to the public and takes place Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. (A rain date is Sunday, July 16.) Specialty Awards will be presented on stage at 9 p.m. Top 40 winners will be presented with their awards at their vehicle prior to 9 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Doylestown Rotary. As a result of the event, West State Street from Main Street to West Street, and West Court Street from Main Street to Franklin Street will be closed to traffic, and no parking is permitted beginning at 2 p.m. The Clinton Street, Kenny's, and Plaza West parking lots will also be closed. All side streets intersecting with West State and West Court will be barricaded to prevent access, the Borough of Doylestown stated. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

Car And Boat Show Saturday Along Bristol Waterfront
Historic Bristol Day is hosting its second annual Mahogany and Steel Car and Boat Show on Saturday. (Sunday is the rain date.) The show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with registration starting at 9 a.m. The event is held in the Mill Street Parking Lot along the Delaware River. And after the cars and boats have been on display, the show concludes with a car cruise down Radcliffe Street from the King George Inn to the Moose (the old Weed Chevrolet building at Radcliffe and Green Lane). And save your appetite. The Bristol High School drama club will be serving sausage and pepper sandwiches, and hot dogs as they do for Historic Bristol Day.

Food Truck Festival In Wrightstown To Benefit Lingohocken Fire Company
Food and fire safety come together at the second annual Lingohocken Food Truck Festival at the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds on Penns Park Road on Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. Eleven food trucks will take part this year, including Kono Pizza, Rooster and the Chick, Corn Hub, the Tot Rod, Eat This Jawn, El Sabor, Goodnoe Ice Cream, Bonjour Creperie, Sunny Day Smoothie Co., Kandy Ices, and Pop Fizz Sodas. The evening features a banquet of food, socialization, music, fire safety, and a chance to meet with fire crews. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

Tango Gotcha Day Celebration At Sesame Place
Sesame Place in Middletown Township is holding a Tango Gotcha Day celebration this weekend. The amusement park is celebrating the one-year anniversary of the addition of its latest character, Tango, Elmo’s adopted puppy.
Festivities include:
- Tango’s Treat Seek – Tango’s golden treat will be secretly hidden in the park prior to its opening on July 15 and 16. The first person to find Tango’s treat will receive a Sesame Place prize pack at the Welcome Center.
- Elmo & Tango’s Gotcha Day Scavenger Hunt – Guests can search throughout the park for all the items that Elmo needs to take care of Tango. Guests can turn in completed activity sheets at Mr. Hooper’s Gift Shop for a prize.
- Meet & Greets with Tango – Guests can meet and take photos with the adorable and playful Tango at Sesame Plaza throughout the weekend.
- Sesame Street Party Parade – Guests will be able to spot Tango in the colorful and energetic summer parade for one weekend only!
Guests can visit Abby’s Paradise Theater to watch the all-new character stage show, “Welcome to the Party!” which features an appearance from Elmo’s floppy-eared, tail-wagging friend.

'Then And Now' Outdoor Photo Exhibit Returns In Yardley Saturday
Want to know what Yardley looked like way back when? Well, the Yardley Historical Association and Experience Yardley are teaming up to showcase 30 photographs taken in the early-to-mid 1900s that will be on display starting Saturday. The pictures are presented at the places where they were taken, creating a "then and now" experience. (Read this Patch story for more details.)
