BUCKS COUNTY, PA —It's hard to believe that this is the final weekend of the first month of the year.
We hopefully have weathered the storm(s) with heavy doses of rain and snow this month and possibly more in the forecast over the weekend.
It's the time to get cozy and warm and sip some hot chocolate as a fire crackles to take the edge off the evening chill. Or you can enjoy the Hot Cocoa Crawl in Dublin.

Speaking of the weather, the Churchville Nature Center in Northampton Township is hosting its "World of Weather Weekend."

High school students from 23 area schools will showcase their works at the 11th annual Youth Art Exhibition starting Sunday at the Phillips’ Mill Community Association. The show features paintings, works on paper, photography, digital art, and 3-dimensional work.
Besides artist exhibits, the classic "Wizard of Oz" is also offered with a performance on Friday night and two shows on Saturday by students in the Charles Boehm Middle School in Lower Makefield Township.
Lower Makefield Township is also the scene on Saturday to check out those holiday lights for the final time this season at Shady Brook Farm.

World Of Weather Weekend At Churchville Nature Center
The World of Weather Weekend takes place rain or shine this weekend at the Churchville Nature Center in Northampton Township. The center is bringing the weather inside for this event. Rooms in the visitor center will transform into meadowland, rainforest, and coral reef biomes with interactive displays and science experiments. Learn how to make fun crafts and practice your forecasting skills in front of our green screen. What is your favorite type of weather? The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday with the cost $6 at the door. (Admission to the center is limited to event attendees for the weekend.)

Hot Cocoa Crawl Saturday In Dublin Borough
Dublin Town Center is holding a Hot Cocoa Crawl from Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Event organizers said attendees can hop from one cozy shop, café, or restaurant to the next, sampling sweet treats and shop specials. "Think decadent chocolate, marshmallows, and maybe even 'something extra' for the adults," organizers said. (Read this Patch story for more details.)

"Wizard of Oz" Performance at Pennsbury School
You can be off to see The Wizard on Saturday as the Charles Boehm Middle School presents "The Wizard of Oz" with two shows of the timeless classic on Saturday. Performances take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Click here for tickets.

Last Chance For Shady Brook Farm Holiday Light Show
It might be the show of shows in Bucks County. There's still time to catch the annual Shady Brook Farm Holiday Light Show in Lower Makefield Township which features "millions of dazzling lights" that can be seen via a vehicle drive-through, a wagon ride, and even a private wagon ride. 11th Annual Youth Art Exhibition Kicks Off 2024 At Phillips' Mill
Phillips’ Mill Community Association presents its annual Youth Art Exhibition showcasing dynamic artwork from local high school students. Now in its 11th year, the exhibition opens at the historic Mill on Sunday and runs on weekends through Feb. 18. The show features works from 23 area schools.
