Shady Brook Farm Holiday Light Show dazzles. Winterfest is on display. And some ski resorts are now open this weekend too.

EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA —Check out the lights, see some fireworks or hit the slopes. It's a fun-filled weekend for everyone this holiday season.
These are some of the events taking place this weekend in Eastern Pennsylvania:
Shady Brook To Turn On Millions Of Dazzling Lights
It might be the show of shows in Bucks County. The annual Shady Brook Farm Holiday Light Show starts Saturday and will feature "millions of dazzling lights" that can be seen via a vehicle drive-through, a wagon ride, and even a private wagon ride. The experience includes three million lights illuminating acres of farmland at 931 Stony Hill Road in Lower Makefield. The drive-thru opens Saturday and is open nightly through Jan 7, then Friday and Saturday until Jan. 5. (Read More)

Winterfest Celebrates Sellersville's 150th With Fireworks
Despite the absence of its beloved carnival this year, the Sellersville Fire Department is keeping the tradition of dazzling fireworks alive, thanks to the continued support of a $4,000 donation from A&T Chevrolet-Subaru. The fireworks display, a staple of the Sellersville Fire Department Carnival, will return as the grand finale of the Sellersville Borough Winterfest celebration on Saturday, December 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. This year’s Winterfest event also marks the 150th anniversary of Sellersville Borough, and the fireworks will help light up the skies during the evening’s festivities. Eastern PA Ski Resorts Opening, Offering New Amenities
Ski resorts across eastern Pennsylvania are gearing up for the 2024-25 season, with several slopes already open and others planning for opening days this weekend or in the coming days. Resorts have been working to improve slope conditions regardless of weather. (Read More)

Concert Celebrates The Music Of Composer John Williams
The Pennsylvania Philharmonic presents the music of composer John Williams on Sunday, Dec. 15 beginning at 2 p.m. at the Zlock Auditorium on the campus of the Bucks County Community College on Swamp Road in Newtown. Guests will experience the magic of the holiday season with the iconic music of America’s greatest composer, John Williams. The audience will hear beloved selections from E.T. , Harry Potter, Home Alone, Star Wars, Indiana Jones Trilogy (Series), Hook and much more. They'll also hear the sounds of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Manheim Steamroller plus the Pennsylvania Philharmonic Holiday Brass. The cost is $47. (Read More)
