5-Year Strategic Plan For Warminster Library Coming
The unveiling will come at the "Love Your Library" event in Warminster on June 4.

WARMINSTER, PA —The Warminster Township Library will unveil its new five-year strategic plan at a "Love Your Library" event early next month.
The new strategic plan tasks Library Director Peter Lehu and his team to build on this work in the coming years in various ways, including developing a new website, updating the young children's area, providing steady computer and Internet instruction, developing offsite library access points in the community, and increasing outreach and community partnerships.
The plan was developed by Lehu and the library's advisory board.

The plan, which will guide library operations through 2029, is a culmination of 2 years of work by the Board analyzing library usage trends, researching community needs, reviewing responses to user and staff surveys, and interviewing community leaders, officials said.
The final plan envisions library services focusing on accessibility, inclusivity, and increased visibility in the community, and an expansion of resources and programs that position the library to be a cultural and social hub of Warminster.
The Love Your Library Reception will also celebrate the many completed or soon-to-be
completed improvements to the library that will be the bedrock of its future growth.
They include:
- Restrooms have been renovated and a 3rd single-use, wheelchair-accessible restroom was added.
- Two new study rooms were built. Residents can reserve these rooms for quiet study, one-on-one meetings, or videoconferencing free of charge.
- The library’s advocacy group—the Friends of Warminster Library—is funding new outdoor seating, landscaping, and electrical outlets so that residents can enjoy the green spaces around the library and attend outdoor events.
With the help of advocacy work by State Rep. Brian Munroe, Warminster Library was awarded a grant by the Department of Community and Economic Development to purchase and develop a mobile computer lab which will allow meeting spaces to be turned into classrooms for a variety of courses from basic computer skills to avoiding fake news online.
The library is located at 1076 Emma Lane, The phone number is 215-672-4362. Click here to visit the library's website.
