6-Year-Old Sexually Assaulted In Warminster: Police

The suspect sexually assaulted a 6-year-old child at a County Line Road residence, then fled when confronted, police said.

WARMINSTER, PA — A 6-year-old Warminster child was sexually assaulted by a 30-year-old early Friday, police said.

According to police, Warminster Township Police responded just before 1 a.m. to a home along the 300 block of County Line Road for a report of a sexual assault. A witness told police that the suspect sexually assaulted a 6-year-old child and then fled when confronted.

Police located the suspect a few blocks away and was taken into custody without incident. The child was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The male suspect was charged with Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Indecent Assault, Corruption of Minors and Indecent Exposure. His name has not yet been released.

He is currently being held in the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $750,000 bail.
