Aggravated Assaults, Wawa Incident Top Warminster Crime News
The Warminster Township Police Department Tuesday released the blotter of its most recent criminal incidents.
WARMINSTER, PA —Aggravated assaults and thefts from vehicles kept police busy for most of May.
The Warminster Township Police Department Tuesday released its blotter of arrests and criminal incidents for the period of May 1 through May 21.
Aggravated Assault Arrest —While on scene at a medical call in the area of Walter Road, police witnessed a 34-year-old Warminster man assault another man. He was charged with aggravated assault. The man was arraigned by the on-call District Justice and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

Aggravated Assault and Related Offenses Arrest —On May 7, police responded to investigate an assault that had allegedly just occurred at a residence on Cypress Road. After investigating, a 23-year-old Warminster man was arrested for the assault and related offenses on another person. He was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person. He was arraigned by the on-call District Justice and bail was set at $25,000. The man was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Driving Under the Influence and Related Offenses Arrest —Police were dispatched to a condo complex located on the 800 block of York Road for the report of a vehicle that was seen striking several other vehicles and objects in the lot. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the operator of the striking vehicle who appeared to be under the influence. After conducting the initial investigation, the operator was released to a family member. Charges have been filed on the 33-year-old Warminster man for driving under the influence and related charges. The man has since been arraigned in front of the District Justice and was released on $35,000 unsecured bail.

Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct, and Harassment —Police were dispatched to a local tavern for a disorderly subject. Upon arrival police found there had been an altercation between staff members of the pub and a patron. The patron a 42-year-old male from Warminster was found to have an active arrest warrant out of another local jurisdiction. After concluding the investigation, the male was transported and released to Warrington Police on the active warrant. Citations for Public Drunkenness, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct were filed by Warminster in relation to the incident.
Driving Under the Influence, Possession of Drugs, and Paraphernalia Arrest —On May 11, police were dispatched to the area of the Starbucks parking lot to check on a subject in a running vehicle in the lot. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the 35-year-old Trevose man who was seated in the driver seat of the vehicle. The officer observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle during his contact with the driver. After investigation, the man was charged with Driving Under the Influence, Possession of a controlled/counterfeit substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The man was eventually transported home and released to a family member.
Public Drunkenness —On May 12, police were dispatched to the area of Motel 6 for a possibly intoxicated subject. Upon arrival, police found the 59-year-old man laying on the ground and drinking a can of beer. After speaking with him and concluding an investigation, the man was transported by ambulance for evaluation to a local hospital. A citation for public drunkenness was issued by police in relation to the incident.
Underage Drinking/Possession of Alcohol —On May 12, police were investigating a disturbance and found a 16-year-old male from Warminster involved in the incident had possessed and consumed alcohol that evening. After investigating, the man was issued a citation for illegal possession/consumption of alcohol being under the age of 21.
Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct —On May 15, police were dispatched to a local tavern on York Road for a disturbance. Upon arrival, police found a 60-year-old man on the ground in front of the business. After investigating, the man was provided a ride home. Citations for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness were issued to the man in relation to the incident.
Driving Under the Influence, Possession of Alcohol Arrest —On May 16, police were dispatched to the area of Charter Road to check on a subject who appeared to be unconscious in a running vehicle. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the 18-year-old Warminster man who was seated in the driver seat of the vehicle and was unresponsive at first. The officer observed alcoholic beverages in the vehicle during their contact with the driver. After investigation, the man was charged with Driving Under the Influence and Possession/Consumption of Alcohol by a person under age 21. He was later released.
Public Drunkenness —On May 17, police were dispatched to the Wawa at County Line and Davisville roads for a possible intoxicated subject who was causing a disturbance in the store. Upon arrival, police made contact with the 53-year-old Ulysses man in the parking lot. After speaking with him and investigating the incident, the man was cited for public drunkenness and released to a friend at the scene.
Public Drunkenness —On May 21, an officer on patrol observed a 59-year-old Warminster woman who appeared to be stumbling as she was walking along the roadway down Evergreen Avenue. The woman was then observed falling down and laying on her back in the front yard of a residence along the road. Upon making contact, it was determined that the woman was intoxicated. She was released on the scene to a friend who responded for transport home and cited for public drunkenness.
Theft of Trailer Investigation —On May 15, police took the report of a theft of a 2020 Sun Valley, eight-car, hauler semi-trailer, red in color. That is valued at about $95,000. The trailer appears to have been taken the previous evening around 8:30 p.m. after reviewing camera footage. The trailer was parked at a business located on Ash Circle.

Theft from Vehicle Investigation —On May 3, police took the report of items taken from a vehicle sometime recently while it was parked in a lot of a local complex located on the 600 block of East Street Road.
Theft from Vehicle Investigation —On May 3, police took the report of items taken from an unlocked vehicle sometime after May 1 while it was parked in a lot of a local complex located on the 600 block of East Street Road.
Theft from Vehicle Investigation —On May 9, police took the report of two Husqvarna landscaping backpack blowers that were taken from work vans in the business's rear lot located on the 100 block of York Road. Police are investigating the matter.
