Almhouse Road Reopens After 2-Week Closure

WARMINSTER, PA —Almshouse Road in nearby Northampton Township has reopened to traffic after a two-week closure for a drainage pipe replacement project.

Police are urging drivers to drive carefully due to the uneven roadway. The road reopened on Friday.

A section of Route 332 was closed to replace stormwater pipes between Jacksonville and Hatboro roads, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said.

It’s unclear if the road will be closed again when crews move in to complete the project next week.

During the closure, drivers were directed to use Jacksonville Road, Bristol Road, and Route 232 (Second Street Pike) to avoid the work zone.
