Altomonte's Hosts Live Broadcast of WIP Morning Show
Sports talker Angelo Cataldi and his morning crew set up shop behind the deli counter.

Topics ranging from the Phillies' loss to Jayson Werth and the Washington Nationals to the best deli meats were on the menu when Angelo Cataldi hosted his WIP morning radio talk show from Altomonte's Italian Market & Deli on Wednesday from 6 to 10 a.m. The show broadcasts on 610 AM weekday mornings.
General Manager Vincent Grispino won the visit during an auction sponsored by the Eagles Youth Partnership. Cataldi and his co-hosts, Rhea Hughes, Joe Conklin, Al Morganti and Ricky Bottalico stationed themselves behind the sandwich counter, looking like they were ready to take orders during commercials.
Between munching on sample sandwiches, the crew expressed disgust over the decision by Phillies head coach Charlie Manuel to bring in pinch hitter John Mayberry Jr. in the ninth over Ross Gload.
