This year's theme is "Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower," focusing on lithium‑ion battery safety.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is urging people to reduce fire risks from rechargeable lithium‑ion batteries in everyday devices such as phones, tablets, laptops, power tools, e‑bikes, scooters, and toys.
