Fire Prevention Events Planned In Lower Bucks County

Fire departments are holding open houses for National Fire Prevention Week, which runs through Saturday.

This year's theme is "Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower,” focusing on lithium‑ion battery safety.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is urging people to reduce fire risks from rechargeable lithium‑ion batteries in everyday devices such as phones, tablets, laptops, power tools, e‑bikes, scooters, and toys.

Fire Prevention Expo 2026 (Lower Southampton Fire Department No. 1/Feasterville Fire Co.)

The Feasterville Fire Company and the Lower Southampton Fire Department will hold an action-packed afternoon filled with live fire and rescue demonstrations, a helicopter landing, K-9 demonstrations, bounce houses, food, vendors, music, and fire truck rides for kids of all ages. The event takes place from Noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Southampton Fire Company (Upper Southampton Twp.)

The Southampton Fire Company Fire Prevention Open House takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. The fire company will have fire truck tours, live fire and safety demonstrations, activities for children, and opportunities to meet local firefighters.
