Warminster U-9 Girls Win at 25th Anniversary Al Perlini Soccer Club Tournament

The Warminster Black Widows under-9 girls travel soccer team won its division of the 25th Anniversary Al Perlini Soccer Club Tournament held in Warminster September 1st and 2nd 2012.   All of the athletes attend one of the Centennial School District elementary schools or Nativity of Our Lord Elementary School.

The Black Widows played against other U-9 teams from Warrington, Whitpain, Cheltenham, and Chestnut Hill.  The Black Widows did not allow any goals in their net and scored an average of just under five goals per game.

Head Coach Mark Jones shares, "Our team came to play on Sunday against some great competitors. I am so proud of the girls because they played hard, never quit, and showed the essence of what a true team is by always maintaining their sportsmanship to the other participating teams".
