Annual Bucks Arts & Barks Pet and Family Fest Nears

WARMINSTER, PA —The 5th Annual Bucks Arts & Barks Pet and Family Fest returns early next month with more than 80 vendors and lots of pet education at Warminster Community Park.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 2 at Warminster Community Park, 350 East Bristol Rd.

It will feature 80 plus vendors/crafters, eight animal rescues, six food trucks, a petting zoo, live music, kid’s activities, a mini horse kissing booth, face painting, balloon twisters, police K-9, and family fun.

Admission is free and the proceeds support the 501c3 Warminster Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center.

The Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center provides socialization, education, exercise, and nutrition to local seniors and veterans. This Center annually serves more than 6,000 Meals on Wheels to home-bound seniors in Bucks County.

“We are so excited to bring back this fun pet loving, kid and family event for the community,”
said Amanda Gershanick, nutrition, and community service coordinator for the Ben Wilson Senior
Activity Center.

“The Annual Bucks Arts & Barks Pet and Family Fest is a great opportunity to bring the community together for a day of family fun which highlights many local rescued animals seeking a forever home. We have something for all ages and your leashed loved ones, so we encourage everyone to come for a day of fun, food, activities, and live music," she said.

About Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center

The Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center (BWSAC), located in Warminster, is a 501(c)(3) non-
profit organization supported by more than 100 volunteers, the Bucks County Area Agency on

Aging, grants, and fundraising revenue through events and donations. It is the largest Senior
Center in Bucks County, with more than 1,200 members.

The BWSAC mission is to promote the social welfare of persons aged 55 and older by encouraging good fellowship and companionship among members through social activities, community improvement projects, and other activities conducive to the physical, mental, and social well-being of members.
