Armed Robbery At Perkins In Warminster

Breaking: There was an armed robbery at the Perkins Restaurant in Warminster late Saturday night, according to police.

WARMINSTER, PA — A man armed with a gun robbed the Perkins Restaurant in Warminster late Saturday night, accosting an employee and then feeling with money in a trash can, police said.

The armed robbery happened around 11:18 p.m. at the restaurant on York Road. The restaurant was closed at the time; no one was injured.

An employee told police that robber accosted him in the parking lot. The suspect, who was wearing all dark clothing and had a silver handgun, ordered the employee back into the restaurant. He held him at gunpoint while he took an undisclosed amount of cash from the safe.

The suspect fled out the rear door with the money in a white trash can, police said. He is described as being 5'7" to 5'11" feet tall, approximately 195 to 210 pounds.

Officers conducted an extensive search of the area but the suspect remains at large.
