BAPS Charities, Warrington Hosts Flu Vaccination Drive
Flu Vaccination drive was organized by BAPS Charities with support from local Walgreens benefiting 38 participants
Influenza (“flu”) is a contagious disease, caused by the influenza virus, which can be spread by coughing, sneezing, or nasal secretions. On average, 226,000 people are hospitalized every year because of influenza and 36,000 die – mostly elderly (Source: CDC).
The Influenza vaccine prevents influenza. Flu Vaccination drive was organized by BAPS Charities with support from local Walgreens in Warrington, PA on September 20, 2015 benefiting 38 participants.
