Best School Award Recognizes Centennial School District In Warminster

WARMINSTER, PA —The Centennial School District is rising up the charts as one of Pennsylvania's top districts.

The school district recently received a 2023 Best Schools Recognition from Niche, a Pittsburgh-based organization that provides in-depth profiles on every school and college in America and lists over 140 million reviews and ratings.

The district earned the ranking by scoring well in many factors that aim to capture what it is like to attend school, school officials said in a press release.

"While we have always known Centennial School District is a great place to learn and grow, we are proud of our students and staff for earning this national distinction," school officials said.

Meanwhile, Schools Superintendent Dana Bedden told the school board last week that Centennial also climbed nine spots in this year's best school districts in Pennsylvania state rankings. The district also finished in the top 20 percent of diverse school districts.

"Centennial School District is committed to every student, to their future success, and to providing access to equitable learning experiences. Thank you to our community for working hard to support Centennial School District in improving outcomes for our diverse student body. While we recognize we still have much more to do to continue to improve, we want to celebrate the progress and growth of our students and the efforts of our staff and community," Bedden said.

The Centennial School District comprises Warminster Township, Upper Southampton Township, and Ivyland Borough with 5,300 students in grades K-12, representing 43 countries and speaking 39 languages.
