Bizarre Indecent Exposure Incident Investigated In Warminster

Police are investigating a suspicious incident in Warminster in which an elderly man stopped his car near a child riding her bike and was seen with his genitals exposed, police said.

According to police, it happened around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on Van Horn Drive near Hart Street. The girl, who is 12, was riding her bike when a man, estimated to be in his 70s or 80s, stopped his car nearby. He smiled at her, she told police, and she approached the car because she thought it was someone she knew.

As she got closer to the car, she noticed the man's genitals were exposed. "The man "had both of his hands on the steering wheel and continued to smile at her" without saying anything, according to information from police.

She immediately stepped away from the car and went home. She told her father, who reported the incident to police. The car left the area and was last seen making a right turn onto Jamison Street from Van Horn Drive.

The area was checked but the car, described as a gray four-door sedan, was not located.
