WARMINSTER, PA —A blood drive takes place on Friday and there's still time to dispose of your Christmas trees now that the holidays are over.

Township officials said even though the holidays are over, that the need for blood donors doesn't end.

The American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in the conference room of the Warminster Township Parks and Recreation building at 1110 Veterans Way in Warminster.

Meanwhile, residents can dispose of their Christmas trees until the end of the month, township officials said.

Holiday tree recycling also takes place at Warminster Community Park as well.

Residents are requested to remove all holiday decorations before dropping off the trees.
