BMW-Driving Man Went 95 MPH On York Road Before Crashing: Cops
The man reportedly told police he was in a hurry to get his daughter to a school event. He was going 95 in a 40 mph zone, police say.

WARWICK, PA — A 40-year-old man is facing a felony charge after he was reportedly going 95 miles an hour — 55 miles per hour over the speed limit — just before crashing on York Road and seriously injuring a woman. Robert Herman of Bensalem has been charged with aggravated assault by vehicle in connection with the May 11 crash, according to court records.
He is also facing charges of reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child. According to a report in the Bucks County Courier Times, Herman's 11-year-old daughter was in the BMW at the time of the crash in Warwick.
The charges were filed by Warwick police on Wednesday.

According to an affidavit obtained by the Courier Times, Herman told police he was in a hurry to get his daughter to a school event. He admitted "he may have been going a little fast," the affidavit said, according to the Courier Times.
Herman's preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 26.
