Low Cost Camps For the Kids This Summer

A few suggestions on how to keep those kids busy this summer in various sports camps offered by our area high schools.

Summer is approaching full speed and the kids are getting excited!  As parents we all know that the first week is fun filled and the kids are all busy doing things they didn't have time to do during the school year but then....week 2 hits and we start to hear things like "I'm bored."

If your kids are active in sports here are a few suggestions that may occupy some of their time.

WTHS BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP     ages 7-14     June 27-June 30  held @ WTHS gym 9-2:30  Cost is $115 for the 4 day camp.  If paid before  June 1st there is a $15 discount.

ARCHBISHOP WOOD "FIELD OF DREAMS" BASEBALL CAMP    ages 6-15  Held on the school's fields.  June 20-June 24 from 9-2PM and June 27-July 1 from 9-2PM.   Cost is $160 per week or both weeks for $275.  E-mail woodbaseball14@comcast.net.

These are just a few examples of low cost camps for your kids to attend to keep away that boredom.   At least a few of my kids have attended each of these camps and we were pleased with the results from all of them.

Good luck keeping those kids entertained throughout the summer!  Have a wonderful day:)
