What is wrong with the world? I just read that a school in New Jersey has banned students hugging. I mean, come on people, this is a much better display of affection then what some students do. Like the ones who call others names, discrimination, and down right meanness.
If the school system is that afraid of a little compassion towards one another then I believe that the school system should be looked into. Sounds as if someone in the "powers that be" section has some underlying issues of their own.
Is the world we live in so negative, so discriminating, so racial and so on, that it bothers others to see two students hugging? Do these students harm one another by hugging? It's a sad day when people can be banned for an act of kindness while racism and discrimination exists. It's sad that the "powers that be" are so threatened by a hug.
