Warminster Deserves a Better Future
A very insightful woman brought it to my attention how growing up in Warminster used to be and the fact that she is now raising her children in this area, the differences that are so apparent.

I didn't grow up in this beautiful area, I myself grew up in Trevose, but had several friends of the family who owned homes up here that we always visited. I remember the land how beautiful it was, the people how friendly and loving. That stuck with me so much that when I was a teen I specifically made it a goal to move up here and be among the love.
I remember how people who didn't live here would refer to this place as the place that the rich lived, it was so very close to Willow Grove Amusement Park, which we went to almost every weekend. It had farms, and the trees up here were so amazing. Our own little county, you could drive through and see the beautiful leaves changing without having to go to the mountains.
But now, how times have changed, don't get me wrong this area is still beautiful, the trouble with it is how commercialized it's become. How those in charge have let this area become just like others, homes that are a menace not being cited, allowing not one but two CVS's into the area (oh like we really need two). I mean, really! Then, the smaller businesses whose owners used to take pride in the places have now jumped on board the crap wagon, not all but some.

I walk into some places (mostly one and it serves food) and they have cardboard thrown on the floor for the employees to walk on. Umm, did you ever hear of mats? But they don't get cited because the BOH does not make impromptu visits.
But I digress, the idea as one individual stated is to take back our area, take it away from the dirty, the filthy-mouthed children and the parents who own these children. Take it back, people, really.

Our community is beautiful and with the right guidance and right individuals running it we could be so very successful and profitable and so very abundant.
The elderly people who lived in this community can't do this because the younger people do not allow them to, the younger don't care, it's us in the middle who have not only the ability but the common sense to step up and take action.
Just like with the election, which I am so sure everyone is getting tired of everyone's opinions, but think, our community should have people in it who care, people who want this place to remain one of the best places to live, not lazy ass people who sit and will just be yes men.
Come back to the reality that, yes, communities progress, but do we need to leave the beauty, common sense and integrity behind? I say no, there are so many beautiful homes, business, people here so lets take it back and preserve it!
