Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission Offering Narcan At Warminster Office: Report

Get free doses and learn how to administer them to potentially save a life amid the heroin epidemic.

The Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission is ramping up its efforts to combat the heroin epidemic by offering more chances to obtain a life-saving drug, as well as education on how to use it.

The commission will offer free doses of Narcan, an opiate overdose-reversing drug that is administered through a nasal spray, and information on how to use it between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, and Tuesday, Dec. 13, according to the Bucks County Courier Times.

Anyone interested in obtaining Narcan and learning about how to use it as well as other drug treatment information can stop by the commission's offices at 600 Louis Drive, Suite 102-A, Warminster.
