Bucks Man Guilty Of Trafficking Machine Guns, Reports Say

A Richboro man who ran a Warminster-based gun business was found guilty of illegally trafficking machine guns, reports say.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Vahan Kelerchian, 56, of Richboro trafficked the machine guns, some of which were obtained by people in organized crime.

Kelerchian operated a Warminster-based firearms business called Armament Services International, the Inquirer said. Authorities allege he conspired with Lake County, Ill. police officers to sell weapons parts on the black market, according to the Chicago Tribune.

A federal jury found Kelerchian guilty Thursday after 10 days of testimony, the Chicago Tribune reported. Kelerchian will be sentenced Jan. 28, the Tribune report said.
