Car On Apartment Complex Lawn, Weapons Violation: Yardley Crimes
The Yardley Borough Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents.
YARDLEY, PA —The Yardley Borough Police Department has released its police blotter of two recent criminal incidents.
Yardley Police Chief Joseph Kelly III said on Oct. 1 a protection from abuse order was served in the borough.
The order required the surrender of weapons, the chief said.

On Friday, an investigation revealed the weapon and/or an affidavit was not received by law enforcement.
As a result, a charge for persons to not possess weapons was filed against a 51-year-old Freehold, N.J., man. The matter is pending in court, police said.

Meanwhile, a 64-year-old Lower Makefield Township woman was arrested, processed, charged and released.
The chief said that at 10:48 a.m. on Saturday, Yardley Police responded to Yardley Commons to investigate a vehicle driving on a lawn.
Further investigation led to the probable cause of a vehicle driven by someone under the influence. The woman was arrested, processed, charged, and released. The matter is pending in court.
