Car Crashes Into Warminster Ice Cream Shop, Injuries Reported

A car crashed into The Big Scoop Creamery Friday night, entrapping the driver and injuring several people, Warminster authorities have confirmed. In a statement, Warminster Township Manager Gregg Schuster said the incident was an accident and "not related to terrorism."

Schuster said several pedestrians, including juveniles, were struck during the incident at the York Road ice cream shop. They are being treated for injuries, the extent of which are currently unknown.

The driver of the car was freed by the fire department and then transported for treatment of his injuries, Schuster said.

"This is not related to terrorism and police are treating it as an accident," Schuster said.

The specific number of victims was not immediately clear.

The driver of the car that crashed into the ice cream shop has not yet been identified.
