Caretaker Abused Elderly Autistic Patient In Warminster: PD
Warminster Police responded to the incident at a township hotel in December, according to a recent criminal report.
WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — A caretaker faces multiple charges after he allegedly abused an elderly autistic man at a township hotel in December, police said.
The Warminster Township Police Department responded to the Holiday Inn Express for a report of an elderly autistic man being assaulted by his caretaker.
When police officers arrived, they were met by three witnesses, who said the caretaker ran off inside the hotel, police said.

Police officers received a description and photo of the caretaker.
The 30-year-old male caretaker was found and taken into custody. He was arraigned with bail set at 10 percent of $100,000. The man was transported to Bucks County Prison. He was charged with Abuse of Care Dependent Person, Simple Assault, and numerous other charges.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Abington Hospital to evaluate injuries.
