Cat Shot, Killed In Warminster: Reward Offered

WARMINSTER, PA — The Bucks County SPCA is offering a $500 reward for information about who shot and killed a cat last week in Warminster.

Bubba, an orange tabby cat, was found shot and injured on Friday in the area around Victoria Road and Henry Avenue in Warminster, according to the SPCA. He later died from his injuries.

The animal-welfare group is offering the reward for anyone who shares information leading to the arrest and conviction of the shooter. Anyone with information is asked to contact Chief Humane Officer Nikki Thompson at 215-794-7425, Ext. 107.

On Facebook, where the group shared information about the shooting, followers were reacting Wednesday with a mix of sadness and anger.

"There needs to be long prison time for these people," one follower wrote. "Not enough punishment. Makes me sick."

Wrote another: "RIP sweet kitty. Your life shouldn't have ended like this. Karma, if not the law, always catches up with the killer."
