Centennial School District Welcomes New Principal

WARMINSTER, PA —The Centennial School District has named a new principal for Davis Elementary School.

Ryan Oessenich has been promoted after serving as the 10th Grade House Assistant Principal at William Tennent High School since 2021.

Oessenich began his career in education at MaST Community Charter School in Philadelphia, spending seven years teaching high school math and serving in various leadership roles before leaving the classroom and moving into administration as an assistant principal.

He eventually moved into a central office role as the network head of data and assessment, school officials said.

Working in a K-12 setting provided Oessenich with experience serving students and supervising programming for both elementary and secondary students.

After 11 years with MaST, he became an assistant principal at Harry S. Truman High School in Bristol Township School District before joining the Centennial School District.

Oessenich holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education from Cairn University and an MBA & Education Leadership degree from Lehigh University.

In addition to his love for education, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, golfing, Philadelphia sports, and impacting his community through his church.

Oessenich said he is thankful for the opportunity to serve as the principal and looks forward to working alongside the Davis community in preparing students for post-secondary education, career, and life readiness.
