Centennial Schools Superintendent Won't Seek Contract Renewal
Dana Bedden said he will not seek renewal of his five-year contract to oversee the Warminster-based school district when it expires in June.

WARMINSTER, PA —Centennial School District Superintendent Dana T. Bedden has announced that he will not seek an extension to his contract once it expires.
In an email to the Centennial School District community, Bedden stated that he recently notified the .
His contract expires on June 30, 2025.

"Working alongside an incredible team, dedicated educators, and the vibrant families and students who make Centennial School District exceptional has been my honor," Bedden said.
Bedden said he was "deeply proud of what we have achieved together."

He noted implementing new academic programs which have resulted in the district meeting or exceeding for the first time in over a decade 100 percent of the Pennsylvania Value-Added Assessment System performance targets, achieving Moody's Aa2 General Obligation Bond Rating, surpassing the national and the median rating for Pennsylvania K-12 districts.
He said that accomplishment resulted in over $4 million in refinancing savings.
Bedden said school officials must ensure the school district is more vital than in the past. He added that the move will allow the district to sustain this momentum as "we continue focusing on improving student outcomes while using taxpayer dollars efficiently and effectively."
"As I conclude my 22nd year as a superintendent, I want to thank you for the opportunity to serve the Centennial School District," Bedden said. "I look forward to witnessing the district’s continued success in the years to come, and I remain committed to supporting the school district through this transition."
