WARMINSTER, PA —Looking for a job or a job fair to attend?

Jennifer Schultz, chief executive and owner of Recruitment Queen, was the one to reach.

For a decade, Schultz and her business Recruitment Queen would put together Bucks County job fairs several times a year and hold them usually at the Neshaminy Mall or Oxford Valley Mall.

Schultz personally knew how difficult getting a job can be.

She launched Recruitment Queen 10 years ago after losing her job.

"I lost my job. I was moved to try and create more opportunities for people in Bucks County and beyond to find a job in their own backyard…their own community," she said in a Facebook post on Thursday.

But now Recruitment Queen is saying goodbye.

"It has been a true honor to have helped thousands of job seekers and employers connect over the years through our job board and in-person job fairs," she said.

Schultz said the first job fair we hosted saw over 600 hopefuls waiting in line to get the chance to speak to employers who were hiring for more than 2,000 jobs.

"It was incredible," she said. "The stories from people finding jobs and employers finding the right hires filled my phone and inbox."

Then the job market changed.

"For the better," Schultz stated. "Less people needed help; however, I wanted to keep doing what I could. And then a few years ago, COVID put a stop to everything for all of us and impacted us all for some time, especially Recruitment Queen."

Shultz thanked her family for going through the venture.

"When I look back, I am so thankful for everyone I met along the way, and most grateful for my husband Jim, my daughter Ashley, and my son Andrew – who supported my ideas and jumped in to help from day one. My kids learned what it was like to start a business from the ground up and to serve their community," she said.

It was unclear whether other companies would put together the Bucks County job fairs, which are usually scheduled for spring and fall.
