Convicted Warminster Felon Reportedly Tried To Buy Gun "Without Paperwork"

A Warminster man who is reported to be a convicted felon was arrested and charged for attempting to purchase a firearm in Warminster, the Bucks County Intelligencer reports.
Anthony Joseph Lento, 52, of Warminster, has been cahrged with felony possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, court documents show.
Lento was arraigned on Oct. 29 and remanded to the Bucks County Jail in lieu of 10 percent of $100,000 bail, court documents show.

Lento is slated to appear before Magisterial District Judge Michael W. Petrucci on Nov. 17 for his preliminary hearings, court records show.
According to the Intelligencer, Lento entered a Warminster gun store on Oct. 24 and asked employees about purchasing a gun "without doing any paperwork," leading employees to call police as Lento left.

According to court records, Lento was arrested on Oct. 25.
Police told the Intelligencer Lento has a long history of criminal activity, including guilty plea to murder and voluntary manslaughter in the 1980s.
