Death Threat Against Boy, Dog Attack Injures Man: Warminster Crimes

The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for April.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for April.

These are the criminal incidents:

  • On routine patrol, an officer noticed a vehicle that was swerving and correcting numerous times on Street Road. The officer activated his emergency lights, and the vehicle stopped in front of Centennial Station. While speaking with the male driver, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The man had difficulty locating his documents to give to the officer. The 29-year-old man didn't know where he was coming from or what he had been drinking. The man agreed to Field Sobriety Tests, which he failed. The man was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol. The man refused Chemical Testing. The man was later transported home. He was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol and Driving on Roadways laned for Traffic.
  • A man was walking his dog, and another dog in the neighborhood attacked them. The man and his dog were both injured. The man will bring in vet bills for his dog and Urgent Care bills for his injuries. The 43-year-old female dog owner was required to provide proof of rabies vaccination and a current dog license. The dog owner was able to provide a current dog license, but not the rabies vaccination. The Animal Control Officer issued Non-Traffic Citations for Confinement of Dog and Vaccination of Rabies Required.
  • Officers responded to a York Road apartment complex for a report of a Protection from Abuse Order Violation. When officers arrived, they spoke to a woman who stated the 31-year-old man had broken a window to gain entrance to the apartment. The male was walking on York Road, and an officer stopped him and advised him that he was under arrest. He was handcuffed and taken back to headquarters. The man was arraigned by Judge O’Neill, and bail was set at 10% of $40,000. The male was transported to Bucks County Prison.
  • An officer was dispatched to headquarters to meet with a person for an incident that occurred earlier in the day behind Giant. The woman advised that her son was involved in a physical altercation with two other juveniles. A 14-year-old male had grabbed him by the neck and slammed his face into the building. The man told him that if he told anyone about this incident, he would kill him. The 14-year-old male was cited for Disorderly Conduct and Harassment.
  • On routine patrol, an officer noticed a vehicle running outside the laundromat after hours. When the officer approached the vehicle, he noticed a male passed out in the driver's seat. Upon waking, the driver discovered an open bottle of alcohol in the driver's console. The man was asked to step out of the vehicle and perform field sobriety tests. The 29-year-old man passed the field sobriety test and was transported to his home. He was cited for Public Drunkenness and Restriction on Alcoholic Beverages.
  • Officers were dispatched to Davisville Road for a report of a woman banging on the front and back doors and screaming. The man advised that he had a Protection from Abuse order against his sister, and she was not allowed on the property. The 52-year-old woman was taken into custody and transported to District Court for arraignment. She was arraigned before Judge Chris O’Neill, and bail was set at 10 percent of $10,000. The woman was transported to Bucks County Prison by the Constables.
  • On routine patrol, an officer conducted a traffic stop for an expired registration and smelled alcohol on the driver. The officer asked the 34-year-old man if he would submit to Field Sobriety tests. The man stated he would. The officer determined that the man was incapable of operating a motor vehicle safely. While handcuffing the man, he stated he had a weapon in the vehicle. The gun was confiscated and held for safekeeping. The man submitted to a blood draw, and pending lab results, the man will be charged with General Impairment, Driving under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol. The man was also charged with Firearms not to be carried without a License, and expired registration. The man was arraigned before Judge Baranoski and released on $5,000 bail unsecured.
