Dog Bit Owner, Escaped Kennel, Recaptured In Warminster
Chance the dog had quite the weekend in Bucks County, putting local residents on alert after his escape.

WARMINSTER, PA — The dog that bit his owner in Bucks County before escaping custody in a local kennel was safely recaptured over the weekend, authorities said.
The dog, a two-year-old black and white pit bull named Chance, bit his owner on Sunday in the area of Caledonia Drive in Warminster, authorities said.
The owner was injured, and the dog was surrendered to Warminster Township’s kennels to be quarantined, according to police.

While in the kennel, the dog managed to escape and ran into the nearby neighborhood at Cheryl Drive and Dahlia Road.
Local residents were briefly placed on alert as officials searched for the dog. Authorities secured the dog later in the day.

The dog's owner said that Chance had never been aggressive before Sunday.
Police thanked the public for their assistance in finding Chase.
