Domestic Dispute Leads To Strangulation Charge In Warminster

Warminster Police said the incident took place Saturday on West County Line Road.

WARMINSTER, PA —A man is in custody on strangulation charges following a domestic dispute on Saturday, police said.

Raheem Mahsel was charged with Felony 2 Strangulation, simple assault, and harassment. He was arraigned before District Justice Petrucci and remanded to Bucks County Prison on $100,000 bail with 10 percent.

Warminster Township Police responded around 2:44 a.m. Saturday to 1400 West County Line Road for a report of the victim being abused for the past 24 hours.

Upon arrival, police officers found the victim severely beaten on their head and body. The victim stated that Mahsel had a disagreement with them and proceeded to beat the victim with a closed fist in their body and face.

Police officers observed several injuries on the victim.

The victim also stated that Mahsel had his arm around the victim's neck, and when they said something that he did not like, Mahsel strangled the victim, police said.

The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
