Donated School Supplies Delivered To Warminster Elementary Students

Staples in Valley Square is donating 1,116 boxes to Centennial School District students. Each elementary school gets 372 boxes.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Students at three township elementary schools will be getting new school supplies starting today.

The Warrington Staples store collected supplies to fill 1,116 boxes for delivery to the township's three Centennial School District elementary schools.

Each school will receive 372 boxes, said Tom Pagan, general manager of the Staples store in Valley Square.

"It definitely feels great to help the local community," said Pagan, who started delivering the supplies to schools Thursday afternoon.

He said the supplies came from customers donating $5 at checkout and that the retail value of the supplies amounted to $5,580.

The supply kits include the following 19 items:

  • 2 Black Expo Markers
  • 1 Sharpie Fine Black Marker
  • 2 Sharpie Yellow pocket Highlighters
  • 2 Write Bros Pens 1.0 Black
  • 8 Paper-mate Wood Pencils
  • 2 Paper-mate Pink Pearl Erasers
  • 1 Elmer’s 6g Glue Stick
  • 1 Elmer’s 4oz White glue

Pagan said this was the second year Staples was collecting supplies. He thanked the Bucks-Mont Chamber of Commerce for their support.
