EAC Issues 2023 Annual Report In Warminster

WARMINSTER, PA —The township's Environmental Advisory Committee has issued its end-of-the-year report for 2023.
The committee has announced its completed goals and also some of its ongoing projects.

- Public Outreach: EAC Webpage is adding the EAC presentations to the township’s You Tube channel. The Solarize Southeast Pennsylvania presentation on solar panels was recently made available on the township web page.
- Community Garden Repair: The Parks and Recreation Department has the lead on the issue.
- Centennial School Partnership: Continue to work with Log College Nature Club.
- Environmental Educational Series: Provided the following four presentations: Delaware Riverkeeper Network on Stormwater 101, Solarize Southeast Pennsylvania on home solar installation, Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust on “Habitat and Stormwater Management in Warminster: The Headwaters of the Pennypack Watershed,” and Penn Environment on Plastic Bag ordinances.
- Removal of Invasive Plants in Warminster Parks: Ongoing.
- Climate Action Circles: Ongoing.
- Recycling bins for the parks: Ongoing.
