WARMINSTER, PA —Arno Carl F. Vorwerk is running as a Republican in the May 16 primary election for one of two, four-year terms in Region 2 for the Centennial School Board.
Vorwerk is vying for the school board along with School Board Vice President Patti Crossan, school board member Tony Sadowski, and Don McGeary Jr.

1. What are the top issues currently facing your position and how do you plan to address them?
Parental Rights concerning the determination of what and how their children are being taught, parental rights to be present at and have input, and be permitted to speak to the school board on relevant issues during the public comment portion of the meeting. The school board should not be permitted to forego or impede the public comment portion of the meeting. After all, it is the taxpayers and property owners who foot the bill.
2. Identify specific goals or ideas you have to enhance life in your position.
As mentioned in response #1, assuring and maintaining parental rights as it concerns their children's education and financial responsibility and transparency.
3. What in your experience or background prepares you for election to office?
- Proven leadership skills and supervisory experience developed in the military and work experience; adept at overseeing day‐to‐day operations of staff and motivating employees.
- Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, decision-making, and project development in a high-pressure environment.
- Resourceful problem solver capable of implementing solutions to complex problems.
- Adept at communicating with individuals on all levels, including senior leadership.
