Electronic Recycling Event Set In Warminster

Have old laptops, phones or other electronic devices cluttering up your home and storage? You can safely recycle them at an event Sunday.

WARMINSTER, PA — Have old laptops, phones or other electronic devices cluttering up your home and storage? You can safely recycle them at an event set for Sunday in Warminster.

The event, by the township and PAR Recycle Works, will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, at Warminster Community Park. Participants are asked to use the 350 E. Bristol Rd. entrance at Hatboro and Bristol roads.

Electronic waste that will be accepted for recycling includes appliances, computers, printers and cellphones.

For more information on which items will be accepted, visit the PAR Recycle Works website.

Drop-off is free for most items, with the following exceptions. Small CRT monitors are $30, televisions up to 40 inches are $45 and anything in an enclosure more than 40 inches is $65.

Organizers say the event is very popular and that participants should be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes for drop off.
