Description: Four weeks of camp; three mornings a week; two sessions to choose from; one summer full of fun!  “Camper Kathie” and her staff invite children, ages 3-5 to join them at the WREC for a summer of fun.  A great way to prepare your child for pre-school or keep him/her in an organized program when pre-school has ended. At Camp Weewancha, we play hard, do arts and crafts, read stories, and have fun!  Each week of Camp Weewancha has a different theme, and crafts, stories, snacks and songs revolve around that theme. We will take one trip. Camp Weewancha’s director is a certified teacher. Registered campers will be invited to attend an open house before their camp session begins. Campers must be 3 years old and completely potty trained before camp begins. Campers who are 5 and have attended Kindergarten have “graduated” to our Playground Program. If your child is registered in an Early Intervention program and you would like him/her to participate in Camp Weewancha, please contact Kathie at the Parks & Recreation office at (215)443-5428.
