John Fitch Steamboat Museum

Come see our Museum dedicated to John Fitch, and his Steamboat enterprise.  Many months of labor have gone into this interesting and informative museum.  There are many story boards and artifacts to enlighten the visitor about the man, his invention, his perseverance, his hardships, and the first Steamboat placed in commercial service.  The museum will display a working model of the steamboat that traveled up and down the Delaware River over several months, while carrying passengers between Philadelphia and Trenton including points along the way.
